The Sainsbury’s Everyday Shopping Card is a cash card – Sainsbury’s need cleared funds to be received by them through our Payment Gateway before they can upload the value transferred to your card. Please allow 3 working days after the day of transfer for funds to be available.
To check if the funds are available to spend, you can see your balance within your Account Dashboard and via the QR code on the card itself. We will also email you to confirm when the funds are available.
As this process is not instant. It is best to allow sufficient time before trying to use your card in Sainsbury’s stores.
